Bowen is a little gem, everything is perfectly maintained and clean (except for the maggots in the council bin, eww!) and it's a real tidy town. The rock formations at Horseshoe Bay remind me of the Greece Island, it's just missing the Taverna on the beach. I can see why there are so many grey nomads here, what a perfect place to stay....
